Namosakar and salam aleikum from Rome, Italy. I am a frequent visitor to Dhaka, to study Bangla - I am a professional translator and interpreter (in my 60s now).
The work you people are doing under such socially/religiously oppressive conditions is so meritorious. In the West younger people don't realise the courage it takes, and the courage it took US 40 years ago in the UK to address these problems.

If you need anything translated into English from Italian, French or Spanish, I'd be glad to oblige as my small contribution to your cause.

I shall be back in your region in September - could pop down to Kolkata perhaps for a visit if there is an interesting event to take part in.

Love and bhalo theko - David
